5 Motivations For When You Need a Pick Me Up

5 Motivations For When You Need a Pick Me Up

lose the seasonal slump

The holidays aren't always a time for joy and cheer, particularly due to stressful events, family situations and perceived expectations.  Well, dealing with all that is for another blog, but the fact remains that some feel a SLUMP instead of SPIRIT during this time of year.  Probably because we are not engaging in spirit, we're engaging in expectation, but again, words for another blog post later on.

Before we move onto the 5 useful motivations to employ, I'd like to first pause to make mention of a common cause to this seasonal salute to sadness....and I'm not referring to the lack of Vitamin D or sun.  No, I'm referring to the very underplayed fact that we need a pick me up.......because we are living lives we don't enjoy!

It's true.  You can tell what your concepts and beliefs are by looking around you and seeing what it is you co-created.  Do you like this life you are living?  If not, it may be time to pull the plug, jump ship, pull the cord, cut the ties, take the leap of faith....well, you get the point.

I know, I know, there are REASONS you are staying where you are, keeping things as they are, but here's a clue...they AREN'T going to change until you start giving a bit of direction towards the way you DO want life to be.  Once you know the details of this, you will naturally start making choices with this new life image in mind.

If you'd like a daily, weekly, monthly support system, check out our Becoming page, where you can Wildly Become what you are meant to be through vibrational music, daily meditations and journaling prompts, teleclass and more.  For now....let's get some motivation RIGHT NOW!

Let's make some lists.  Why lists?  Because it's like a crib note version of an "Image board" or "bucket list".  Easy, to the point, and directly says what it is you want, without letting words and brain waves confuse the issue.

Here we go.....5 lists to make that are bound to MOTIVATE you, give you a quick Pick Me Up, and fuel you towards a new image of a life you want.

List #1:  Places you'd love to visit

List #2:  People you can and want to connect with/spend time with over the next 6 months

List #3:  Recipes you'd like to try over the next (week, month, season)

List #4:  Things you could do that would make you feel really proud of yourself.  If I accomplished ______________ by the end of next year, I'd feel really proud.

List #5:  Gifts you want to give yourself/someone else throughout the next year.

These lists keep you moving forward, and they are a truthful glimpse into what you really want to be doing with your time.  They keep possibility alive!  They keep you focused on the things to look forward to and give you a road map of what to include in the next part of your journey.

Now, go get a calendar and plan these in!  WHEN will you do them?  Start making arrangements and before you know it, you are DOING the things you really want to be doing!
